About my website
In 1950, the Korean war began. The war started when North Koreans launched a surprise attack against the South and the capital of Seoul. The war ended in 1953 when an armistice was signed to end the war. Korea gained nothing out of the war but they did lose over 1.3 million South Korean soldiers and 520,000 North Korean soldiers. A lot of the industry was also destroyed.
Three questions I wonder about this war is,
Why did they decided to attack the South and capital of Seoul?
Why did they finally decide to sign the armistice?
What other damages did the war cause to Korea, if any more?
